THE POWER OF WRITING

Nowadays, the pace of life is much faster and faster; everything needs to be done more quickly and the language is also. We use language to express ourselves often by speaking and writing. Speaking is save time and more convenient in daily talk while writing seems to be less used, but it is really powerful in our life. Writing can help us record our memories, release ourselves and focus on things to do in our plan.

Firstly, writing records all memorable moments in our life. One’s life is a lively story with full of happiness and sadness. For example, it is the happiness when your son was born in this life or the sadness of separation moment. No matter that is happiness or sadness, we want to keep all of them for each time we reread them, we can recall and feel these memories are still alive vividly in our mind.

Secondly, writing help us release whenever we feel stressful or sad but do not have anyone to share. We can share happiness easily but it is not easy for the sadness. When we feel sad, all we need is someone who just sits and listens to us but how we can do if they are secrets and we cannot share with others. In these situations, writing is really helpful. We can write down all of our thoughts, feelings or whatever makes us stressful and secure that they still be secret. Writing is a way to express ourselves and after do that we take the balance to start new work.

Finally, we can organize our life through writing by making our future plan. If we want to get success in any fields, we have to make a specific plan in each period with things to do to get real goal. Writing plan helps us keep track of life and focus on what we need to do, not waste time or miss some important things. It is really effective especially for the person has short memory. My friend is an example. She often forgets her daily schedule and misses classes but since she tried to list what she needs to do each day, she did not miss classes or late for school any more. Thus, writing is very helpful.

Writing takes time but we can benefit from its power. Using a note book and a pen to record our memorable moments and keep them lively with the time; write down our feelings to release ourselves; and make a plan to focus on things we should do to get success.
